That one of the boys from my Honors College freshman year symposium group died in a car accident today.
We never hung out much but he was always happy, always making other people laugh, and just 21 years old, so it’s really upsetting to me…lately death in general seems to be hitting closer and closer to home for me, and I guess it comes with getting older, but every time it just makes me think more and I’m just praying that it’ll teach me to be a)more aware and b)more careful.
I’m entirely convinced that we complain too much and waste too much time on the most trivial of things. Quit whining, start living, people. Value what you have.

Hello my loves! Here it is: Iconspirations first post for the Fall. The first week of my senior year has been a little hectic with moving/getting settled and all that...it's crazy to think I have just a year left here if I decide to leave with just one major! I'm just 20 so it seems like it's too soon to go already. As I went through these past three years it felt like it took forever, but looking back it seems like time flew. Either way, I knew I had to make some time for my comeback...I still really want to change the layout/soundtrack but that'll come in time and I hope to post again in the next couple of days. Summer classes were 47589574 times harder than I expected even though I just took one at a time (fyi, I suck at math!). But I'm two weeks away from being done and I really do feel like I want--no, NEED--to come back to this site. As much as it seemed to cheer other people up and inspire them, it also did a lot for making *me* happy and now that I've recharged by spending a few months away I really want to return. I can't give an exact date because all we all know that's failed in the past, but it should be relatively soon :)
